In celebration of techweek, journalist and author Mark Little will be coming in on the 23rd Feb to give a talk about how social media and advances in technology are redefining the role of what it means to be a journalist in the modern age.

Mark will be addressing the fundamental fact that the nature of news coverage has changed, and that how we report and gather news needs to reflect this. He will be discussing what tools and services are available to help news organisations find relevant content on social networks such as Twitter, YouTube and Facebook relating to breaking news stories, and how his own site is changing/promoting these new developments in journalism.
